SCOPE OF WORK / DUTIES / ROLES
  • Active participation in the Project roadmap meeting with the Project Manager, the NCIA LO and the GBR Project Sponsor Review and update sprint planning within Project deliverables with the aim of achieving consistency and traceability of the sprint-based development period;
  • Weekly updates summarizing the progress, priorities, dependencies and risks/issues identified;
  • On-site support to Q3 / Q4 2026 sprint meetings and project support meetings as directed by the Project Manager / NCIA LO at MoD Corsham;
  • Maintain and update the project tasking, including progress reporting, comments, risk identification, and issue tracking;
  • Use project documentation as the depository and planning tool;
  • Where required establish and maintain project documentation;
  • Support the embedded NCIA Liaison Officer (LO) at MOD Corsham, either remotely of via onsite participation. (The degree of hybrid working is to be agreed between the Contractor and the NCIA LO.);
  • Support formal knowledge handover sessions prior to contract completion to ensure continuity, maintainability, and long-term sustainability of the delivered tasks.
REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
  •  At least 10 years of professional experience in the  Communication Information & Systems (CIS) Delivery within the  Defence environment;
  • Proven track record of Project/Programme/Portfolio  management leading complex IS projects including the application  of these skills to broader business and using Agile methodologies  and the PRINCE2 method;
  • Production of focussed programme plans including  using risk management to solve potential problems. Prioritising  resources to ensure delivery is both on time and to budget;
  • Good financial acumen. Using budget management as a key enabler to focus programme delivery;
  • Information Systems development including: Detailed  requirements capture, documentation and acceptance criteria  definition;
  • Development of static and mobile IS in a rapidly changing  environment;
  • Understanding of Security and Communications requirements on  system design;
  • Use of Agile and SAFe methodologies;
  • Service transition and Service Management;
  • Contractor must posess the nationality of one of the NATO nations;
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English.

Desirable:

  • Proven knowledge of UK MOD National  Armaments Director Group - Digital & Data;
  • Experienced in the design, delivery and service  management of networked static/deployable command and control systems;
  • Practical experience in the operational or technical use  of CIS systems and software supported by NCI Agency utilised  within GBR.
