SCOPE OF WORK / DUTIES / ROLES
Workforce planning:
- Contributes to the development of the workforce planning approach;
- Assesses the current state of workforce skills, capabilities, and potential;
- Evaluates future workforce demand for skills based on business plans and external factors;
- Supports the development of workforce plans to ensure the availability of appropriately skilled resources to meet organizational objectives;
- Maintains a comprehensive skills and capability inventory, performs gap analysis, and identifies strategies to address workforce shortfalls;
- Oversees and reviews the implementation of workforce plans.
Resourcing:
- Analyses resource requests to determine tasks, skills and effort required;
- Measures effectiveness of resourcing processes and implements improvements;
- Plans and manages the acquisition of and deployment of resources to meet specific needs and ongoing demand;
- Oversees and supports the execution of resourcing activities in collaboration with managers and teams;
- Adhere to recommended tools for planning, scheduling and tracking resourcing activities.
Internal Controls:
- Studies and evaluates the audit trails of various operational processes;
- Participates in the testing, review and analysis of existing internal controls;
- Applies new technology-based solutions to specific internal control processes;
- Completes, files and maintains forms used for internal control documentation;
- Makes recommendations for the enhancement of certain internal controls.
REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

A minimum requirement of a Bachelor's degree at a nationally recognised/certified University in a related discipline and 3 years post-related experience;

Or exceptionally, the lack of a university degree may be compensated by the demonstration of a candidate's particular abilities or experience that is/are of interest to NCIA, that is, at least 10 years extensive and progressive expertise in duties related to the function of the post;

Experience in workforce planning and resourcing;

Proven experience in managing business planning, performance reviews, employee recognition programmes, and CPO-related documentation (e.g., contract renewals, tour extensions);

Background in overseeing IWCs, Service Contracts, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals;

Experience in guiding performance management and learning and development activities;

Demonstrated ability to organize and coordinate conferences and workshops.
