SCOPE OF WORK / DUTIES / ROLES
Work under the direction of the MCIS TDA, as part of a team, providing services using an Agile and iterative approach during multiple sprints. Each sprint is planned to last one week, with its content and scope agreed upon in writing during the sprint planning meeting.
Key responsibilities include:

- Producing and maintaining architectural materials;
- Providing guidance, monitoring, controlling, and reviewing the implementation of architectures across Programs and Projects;
- Ensuring coherence across Programs and Projects;
- Enforcing the use of Design Guidance and Patterns within Projects and Programs.
REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
Mandatory:
- Proven knowledge and experience in the engineering and design of large and complex Communication and Information Systems (CIS), including Communication Systems, Networks, Infrastructure, Virtualization, Cloud, Security, Monitoring and Control, and Interoperability.
- Expertise in system architecture and design.
- Knowledge of Enterprise and Capability Architecture.
- Experience in leading and coordinating multi-disciplinary teams.
- Familiarity with international, commercial, and industrial CIS-related standards.
- A minimum of 5 years of substantial experience in the aforementioned fields.
- Experience with Military CIS systems.
- Experience with deployable CIS systems (Military and/or Civilian).
- Background in Project Management.
- Proficiency in Service Design and Management.
- Experience with management frameworks such as ITIL, PRINCE2, PMP, etc.
- Familiarity with architecture frameworks and modeling languages such as TOGAF, NAF, Archimate, SysML, etc.
- Prior experience working in an international environment.
- Knowledge of NATO's political ambitions and organizational structure.
