SCOPE OF WORK / DUTIES / ROLES
- Administers and monitors SharePoint farms for any glitches or problems;
- Troubleshoots issues promptly;
- Answer customers' needs by configuration of the system or new solution design;
- Ensures a running system on all aspects (technical, functional, technical processes, operational procedures, etc.);
- Performs daily work on the system to ensure data consistency;
- Manages system security, system patching and upgrades;
- Configures SharePoint services and settings;
- Manages content databases and creating new ones as required;
- Consults with management to devise the most useful ways to apply SharePoint to a business's goals.
REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
- The candidate must have a currently active NATO SECRET security clearance;
- Expertise in administration of SharePoint farms (2010, 2013, 2016);
- Experience with installing, configuring and migrating large SharePoint farms;
- In depth knowledge of restoring SharePoint portals and configuring services as required;
- Windows Operating Systems hands-on (2008R2, 2012R2, 2016);
- Experience with Windows Powershell;
- Experience in deploying CIS systems based on VMWare, Hyper-V and Microsoft systems;
- In depth knowledge of network protocols and network management technology;
- Knowledge of Database Migration, content replication and synchronization;
- Is able to think and work quickly to remedy system shutdowns or serious software problems;
- Possesses strong problem-solving and analytical skill;
- Fluent English in both spoken and written.
Desirable:
- A graduate degree in Computer and Information Systems Technology or an equivalent level of qualification or professional accreditation by a related engineering Institute or professional body;
- Extensive knowledge of secure information systems;
- Prior experience of working in an international environment comprising both military and civilian elements.
