Nationally recognized/certified university qualification in an IT, Computer, Software or GIS related discipline and a minimum of 6 years post-related experience;

Or exceptionally, the lack of a university degree may be compensated by the demonstration of a candidate's particular abilities or experience that is/are of interest to NCI Agency, that is, at least 3 years extensive and progressive expertise in duties related to the function of the post;

Valid security clearance at minimum NATO SECRET level;

Multi-year hands on experience in IT enterprise infrastructure and enterprise level platform services (such as databases, virtualization platforms, operating systems, network components, certificates, firewalls and anti-virus software) required for the design, installation, operation and troubleshooting of a highly integrated distributed enterprise level system;

Experience with VMWare virtual server implementation, optimization and management;

Proficient in Python, PowerShell or other scripting tools;

Professional experience with direct customer contact and the direct interaction with customers;

Solid experience in working in a Microsoft environment with shared data access;

Ability to independently plan and execute assigned project tasks under guidance, taking into account policies, programme goals, priorities, funding and other planning constraints;

Ability to receive and execute tasking in accordance with direction from NCI Agency staff;

Ability to work on its own and as part of a team;

Strong communication skills in English.

Core GIS leverages the ArcGIS Suite as its primary Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) software for geospatial data management, analysis and visualization. Candidates should be comfortable working in environments where ArcGIS is central to delivering mapping solutions, spatial analytics and enterprise GIS capabilities;

Strong understanding of the Esri ArcGIS Product Suite, including its core functionalities and use cases;

Hand-on experience with installing, configuring and managing Esri ArcGIS Enterprise components such as ArcGIS Server, Portal for ArcGIS and related modules;

Familiarity with best practices for system deployment, integration and maintenance within enterprise environments.
