SCOPE OF WORK / DUTIES / ROLES
The consultant will be part of a team and will provide the service using an Agile and iterative approach during multiple sprints.
The content and scope of each sprint will be agreed during the spring-planning meeting. Sprint activities are related to:
- Produce and maintain architecture material;
- Provide guidance, monitor, control and review architectures implementation by Program and Projects;
- Control coherency across Programs and Projects;
- Enforce usage of Design Guidance and Patterns in Projects and Programs.
REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
- Knowledge and experience in large and complex Communication and Information Systems (CIS) engineering and design, including Communication Systems, Networks, Infrastructure, Virtualization, Cloud, Security, Monitoring and Control, Interoperability;
- Knowledge and experience in system architecture and design;
- Knowledge in Enterprise and Capability architecture;
- Experience in leading and coordinating multi-disciplinary teams;
- Familiarity with CIS related international / commercial / industrial standards;
- With a minimum of 5 years of sound experience in those fields;
Desirable:
- Experience with Military CIS systems;
- Experience with deployable CIS systems (Military and/or Civilian);
- Experience in Project Management;
- Experience in Service Design and Management;
- Experience with management frameworks such as ITIL, PRINCE2, PMP, etc;
- Experience in Architecture frameworks and modelling languages such as TOGAF, NAF, Archimate, SysML, etc;
- Prior experience of working in an international environment;
- Knowledge of NATO political ambition and organizational structure
