SCOPE OF WORK / DUTIES / ROLES
- Assist in implementation and administration of Cyber Security related policies, settings and tools;
- Provide support level 2 support for INF051 related services including: Secure Web Proxies, Web Application Firewalls, Email Gateways, Remote Access VPN, DNS and DHCP;
- Routinely serve as CISS representative in the ESOC;
- Provide assistance to other work centres within NISC as needed;
- Other related duties as required.
REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
- Higher secondary education and intermediate vocational training which might lead to a formal qualification with 6 years of experience, or a secondary education and completed advanced vocational training leading to a professional qualification or professional accreditation with 8 years post related experience;
- 6 or more years of experience in system administration of Microsoft-based or UNIX-based operating system environments;
- Practical experience in firewall and network proxy configuration and administration;
- Practical experience in web application firewalls and network intrusion / prevention systems;
- Practical experience in implementing and maintaining cloud services, and secure access services edge;
- Practical experience in implementing and maintaining cloud based DDOS, and web application firewall protection
