SCOPE OF WORK / DUTIES / ROLES

• Works with Distribution Requirements Planning (DRP) basic processes and operations;
• Maintains item and inventory management records;
• Helps minimize bottlenecks and delays and the resulting impact on operating costs;
• Uses real-time inventory software, with guidance, to move supplies where needed, when needed. • Assists in resolving issues related to physical space management. Inventory Management - GCF;
• Performs the receiving, ticketing, checking in and distributing of inventory items for a specific location;
• Produces basic inventory management reports for senior staff to reconcile the inventory balances;
• Tracks inventory information for a specific product group or location;
• Works with basic tasks of inventory management for a specific location;
• Follows processes to take stock, release inventory or return into processing; resolves discrepancies. Logistics Management - GCF;
• Uses tools, with guidance, to forecast delivery times, determine costs and assess performance;
• Works with logistics in a domestic environment;
• Maintains records of all shipments and invoices using an established system;
• Assists in the development of process flows to track lead time by activity;
• Participates in integrating logistics processes and developing effective networks. Supply Chain Management - GCF;
• Recognizes software systems or components used to manage supply chain;
• Participates in supply chain analysis and uses it to spot trends and improvement opportunities;
• Discusses considerations for integrating partner and supplier transactions;
• Summarizes supply chain considerations for different types of products.
