SCOPE OF WORK / DUTIES / ROLES
The service shall focus on maintaining optimal performance, improving endpoint user experience, and preventing service disruption through continuous monitoring and early remediation.
The service applies to the following:
- Windows endpoints (currently Windows 11);
- Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) environments (currently ThinOS 10);
- End-user application performance monitoring;
- Workstation performance monitoring;
- Session performance monitoring;
- Login performance monitoring;
- Device health monitoring;
- Network latency monitoring related to user sessions;
- Workstation and session performance optimisation.
REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
- Proven experience supporting large enterprise workstation environments;
- Subject matter expertise in Windows workstation management and troubleshooting;
- Experience supporting Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) environments;
- Experience using enterprise monitoring tools such as ControlUp or equivalent;
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills;
- Experience in issue management and Root Cause Analysis;
- Subject matter expertise with enterprise monitoring platforms such as ControlUp Experience supporting environments with more than 10,000 workstations;
Desirable:
- Experience with IT service management frameworks such as ITIL;
- Subject matter expertise in automation or scripting to improve operational efficiency;
- Experience supporting multinational enterprise environments.
